The Burning of Aaron Bushnell

On February 27, a twenty-five year-old man serving in the United States Air Force traveled to Washington DC and set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy. "Free Palestine" were his last words as he burned. He died from his injuries.

Is this incident as simply dismissible as saying that Bushnell was mentally ill?
