Tornado warning canceled for southeast Indiana

At 4:38 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for east-central Ripley County and central Dearborn County until 5 a.m. Locations impacted include Lawrenceburg, Greendale, Bright, Hidden Valley, Milan, Moores Hill, Guilford, Logan, Manchester, West Harrison, Mount Sinai, Cold Springs, Dover and Interstate 74 at US Route 52. The warning was canceled at 4:49 a.m. and downgraded to a "severe weather statement." "The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado," the alert stated.
