John Macarthur Should Christians Go to LBGTQ Weddings. John Macarthur Response to Alistair Begg comments on attending LBGTQ wedding. Alistair Begg controversy started when he made a comment suggesting attending gay weddings to show the love of Jesus to people. These comments got Alistair canceled in the Christian world. Having said that i have to disagree with the answer he gave to a question. A believer should not go to an LBGTQ wedding for a lot of reasons. He (Alistair) was making the argument that you go out of compassion and to show love to them. My response to that is the most love things you could do would be not to go to the wedding and condemn the relationship. That would be the most loving thing to do".
