UFO Sighting Inspired "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"

In October 1963, three Argentinian women saw a mysterious unidentified object
beaming a very strong and hot light.

The women's husbands were gone on a routine military exercise.

All of a sudden, the domestic servant rushes into to tell the
two women, "I saw some lights in the sky, there are machines."

All three women decide to go outside and see what was going on.
They begin to approach a nearby railroad track.

At first they thought may they were seeing a military exercise.

The bizarre sight before them was two disc-shaped UFOs with
a beam of light connecting them. The entire scene was lit up
in a green aura.

The two disc-shaped UFOs were now moved closer together,
making them think it was a vehicle of some type.

Soon the UFO began to move up into the sky. It was still green
but now they could see windows around the object.

Then the object emitted a beam to the ground. One of the women
was drawn to it.

She stuck her hand into the beam, feeling warmth. Then there was
a fog or mist sent from the object.

They could now see a light moving around inside the object and
the entire UFO turned to an orange color.

Then the UFO shot fire from its bottom, severely frightening the
women, who fled back to the house.

As the object rose up it began to scan the whole area until
it suddenly vanished.

Several other witnesses came forward to corroborate the women's experience..

The story is so enigmatic that it even inspired Steven Spielberg's hit movie
"Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind."
