The Breakdown of the White Stripes

The White Stripes, consisting of Meg and Jack White, defined millennial garage band rock. Originating in Michigan, Jack White initially stated the two were siblings instead of a divorced couple so the media could focus on the music. After getting a divorce in 2000, the White Stripes churned out highly acclaimed albums. With Karen Elson on the scene in 2005, Jack married her in Brazil after naming a song and album in her honor ("Icky Thump"). The relationship between Jack and Meg is explored in this video.
