I was banned from competing in some mainstream Melee tournaments for "hate speech" and "bigotry" which I completely denounce. I see it as an outright lie on my character.

There are several instances of people being banned from mainstream Smash Tournaments from outright slander with no due process or verification of evidence. I planned to leave the community to go grow something else for Smash.

THIS is a conversation with Dalton Edwards, a broadcaster of NEW and FAIR smash community called Mana Monthly. We go over the corruption in the smash community, social media, and various other topics.

The mainstream Smash community is increasingly exclusive and politicized. It has become less and less about the game and more about drama. I haven't really cared until people started getting banned for outrageous things, many of which aren't even true. That's why I decided to go off and create my own community with other similarly disaffected individuals.

That community is called the Mana Monthly
