Attorney General's Offices Issues Scam Alerts With Tax Season Upon Us

With tax season upon us, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel encourages Michigan residents to file their taxes early to help prevent tax-related identity theft.
She is reissuing their tax season consumer alerts to ensure consumers are better prepared to protect their personal information.
The office is also reissuing the IRS Phone and Email Tax Scams Alert warning.
