DA: Officer justified in shooting death of teen

The officer who opened fire and killed an Overland Park teen in January will not face criminal charges, the Johnson County District Attorney announced Tuesday. District Attorney Steve Howe said an officer was justified in opening fire on John Albers, 17, based on evidence that included police dash cam videos shared at a Tuesday news conference.
