‘The point there is; they are rushing to send their Navy’s in order to protect the shipping of consumer goods from China to Europe, but they have done nothing to break the 16- to 17-year Israeli naval blockade of Gaza even longer.’

‘They don’t mind the blockade that stops civilians and cuts them off from the rest of planet Earth, but stop a shipping container.’

‘If only Palestinian children were shipping containers the European Union, they might be upset and send their Navy’s to intervene.’

Israeli imposed closure on the movement of goods and people to and from Gaza dates back to 1991, with restrictions becoming more severe in 1993 and then again after 2000. In 1994, Israel built the Gaza-Israel barrier as a security measure.
