Why Are So Many American Politicians Fixated On Ukraine?

A great deal of American politicians have put the wellbeing of Ukraine, a foriegn country, ahead of the United States. President Joe Biden and several members of the House of Representatives and the Senate seem to be willing to do anything to fund Ukraine’s war, even if it means the United States is neglected. Why?
