Paul Murphy - 'Eye Of The Needle' . Harrowing, cautionary tale of substance abuse

This song dates from 1986, and I don't think anyone has come up with anything since to overatke it. I used to play this a lot in concert in the 80s, and many an uncomfortable cough did it get at the end. Not blaming anyone for that, you come for a night out, good time, live music, feet tapping; and you hear this. I was unrepentant then, and now. The messasge is as true today as it was then, and as it will be tomorrow. That's a shame.

Love and respect yourselves; it's a beautiful world, depsite everything, and you deserve every second on it you are granted.
