Aylesbury Canal Society - Drone Footage

This is Aylesbury Canal Society drone video I made back in Jan 2024.

On approach to this place, were signs clearly saying, No public access and you can see that at the start of my intro on the gate. Good job I have a drone then Lol. This is basically a canal boat park with lots of canal boats parked up leading off, the grand union canal. I think you have to pay to use the site and likely why no public access. Next to it is a new build housing area where I launched the drone from and the main gates. You will see to your right at the start where the sheds are, me having a nosy, you can see a public footpath run along that boundary.

I view at different angles, zoom ins and far out shots of mostly the boats as best I could. As well as whole area building which is quiet compact. You will see a blue shutter door which the canal boats go down on a ramp. Likely where they are maintained in there.

What I will say is, the canal basin is very clean neat and tidy, even to your right there at the start, as you can see. I didn’t have any issues this day and one person came out from the canal basin and mentioned about the drone in a good way. Showed him a view from my drone controller.
