The Hallmark African-American Leadership Council, Multicultural Business Coalition and the Black Economic Union of Greater Kansas City are teaming up to support the Kansas City Neighborhood Academy and foster a love of reading in children during Black History Month. Marvin Lyman and Brian Love sat down with Cynthia Newsome to discuss the Academy’s upcoming read-in event.
