This season's third and final meeting between the San Antonio Spurs and LA Lakers took place on Friday. After losing the first match (122-119), San Antonio shocked LA in the rematch (129-115) to level the series. LeBron James and Anthony Davis played together for the first time against Victor Wembanyama in the third game.

Playing as though he had something to prove to the superstars on the other side of the court, "Wemby" bounded from the blocks. He scored 16 points, pulled down seven rebounds, stole three, and blocked two shots in the first quarter alone. He became the first player to score that much in a quarter in 28 years.

Despite this, the Lakers led 30-26 thanks to 14 points apiece from James and Davis. LA got going
