Anybody like very historical ships?

We bring you the last surviving of the original six frigates commissioned by the fledgling United States, at the birth of the U.S. Navy, the USS Constitution! The Conny or Old Ironsides as she is lovingly referred to and her sister ships were signed into existence on March 27, 1794 by President George Washington thus birthing the U.S. Navy. By 1800 just six short years later all of the sisters were completed and put to sea.

The Navy now had these lovely ladies to protect her:

USS Congress

USS Chesapeake
