January 4, 1997 - Todd Rundgren Brings His One Man Show to The Vogue in Indianapolis

"You're gonna get an especially loose show tonight," he tells the audience before launching into his first song. The show starts loose and stays that way. Todd's voice is a bit rough at the beginning, but 3-4 songs in he's rolling and in good, if not over-enthusiastic at times, vocally. There are very nice (and rarely heard) piano versions of 'Lost Horizon' and 'Hawking' and several jokes about alcohol and wrapping up the tour. I was his "chauffeur" that day/evening and can tell you the fun continued after the final note sounded.
