Accused of being a crisis actor by The Irish Light editor Gemma O'Doherty for witnessing the aftermath of child stabbings in Dublin on November 23, 2023 - activist Anto Boyle has rejected the allegation as 'absurd'. Boyle lives in the vicinity of Parnell Square East and came upon the scene after the attacker had been disabled by a group of men and lay on the pavement as paramedics arrived to the scene. In this interview, the IT consultant and citizen journalist, tells Aisling O'Loughlin about what he saw that day and how it affected him afterwards.

On February 22, 2024, The Irish Examiner reported that the case of 50-year-old Algerian man Riad Bouchaker had been sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court. Bouchaker is charged with the attempted murder of two young girls and a boy in a knife attack in Dublin on November 23, 2023.
An unnamed girl, aged five, is still in intensive care in Temple Street Children's Hospital following the attack, according to news reports.

Irish Light editor, Gemma O'Doherty claims the stabbings are a false flag operation, along with the riots that ensued, in order to bring in tighter surveillance on the Irish public. Boyle says this is a ridiculous theory as these measures are being brought in anyway, and could be enforced using a more straightforward approach.

O'Doherty refuses to interview Anto Boyle to hear his side of the story and continues to defame his name in her regular evening livestreams, failing to meet basic standards in journalism.
