It is for the United States to come out of the darkness, too. A nation’s people polarised during the seven years between the eclipses of 2017 and 2024. For Little Egypt, Illinois, town names say one is captivated by fear and all that is a secret. That is Makanda, a similar place on the east coast of Africa caught up in fear-controlling secret societies. Pomona, the goddess of orchards, would ignore those who love her and only have time for her work. Then there is Cedar Lake, where the shadowy paths meet, in the name that means firm. This region is known for its snake migration and buzzards adored by Pharaohs.

Almost seven years apart, the August 2017 and April 2024 eclipses intersect near Carbondale, Illinois. The town Makanda. Their town slogan is 'star of Egypt', and Makanda is also a place in the Congo of Devil worshipers. Then there's the town of Pomona nearby. Pomona was an obscure Roman goddess of the woodlands similar to the Asherah pole, a sacred tree of the groves. All these places are in Jackson County, Southern Illinois. Where the paths cross marks the spot of darkness in both the spiritual and literal sense of the word as a biblical omen. The eclipse of 2024 is of the 134 Saros family and runs just over 1260 years, ending in 2510. Then, the orb's nodes repeat again, cycling for another 1260 years. A chain of occurring eclipses of the moon and sun shaking each other's hand roughly 18 years apart. They will continue this close relationship, occurring just over 70 cycles. So, the maths is 18 x 70 = 1260.
