The Chicago Public School Board unanimously voted to remove all school resource officers from Chicago Public Schools. The Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, praised this decision as he feels it will make the city safer…. It is hard to imagine how removing officers of the law from schools will somehow make the city safe. CPS yet again passes laws that are detrimental to not only the children but to the city as a whole.
