Reddit Rant - Alabama IVF Ruling

Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that every fertilized embryo is a human life, regardless of whether it was made in a Petri dish or the old-fashioned way. Probably an untenable over-reach but well within their rights to decide after the overturn of Roe.

Those on the left are using this to say birth control is next. Those on the right are celebrating further protections of the unborn. I think it’s healthy for our country to hash out this debate in the public policy sphere after the artificial suspension of the debate due to Roe.

Not sure where we’ll land as a country once all the dust settles. TBD I guess.
