After serving time in prison, Casey Martin finds himself embroiled in a truck heist. Upon witnessing his sister Lucille's severe struggle with alcoholism due to her employment under mobster Dutch Becker, Casey agrees to a deal proposed by the police. He agrees to work undercover to dismantle Dutch's criminal empire, with the promise of immunity from prosecution if he succeeds and survives.

Gladys Baker, a longtime associate of Dutch, confides in Casey about her romantic involvement with the mobster and pledges her allegiance to him. Tragically, her loyalty costs her life as she is ruthlessly murdered by Dutch's brutal right-hand man, Lou Terpe. Despite the loss, Casey remains resolute in his mission.

In a gripping finale, Casey manages to bring down Dutch and his gang. Though granted his freedom as per the terms of his agreement, Casey's future remains uncertain as he walks away from the chaos, carrying the weight of his past and the uncertainty of what lies ahead.
