Elk herd on the Capital Power Aldersyde project lands Feb 22, 2023

These elk have been feeding on prime agricultural land slated for a solar power plant near Blackie, Alberta.
The AEPA (Alberta Environment and Protected Areas) does not require wildlife studies for ungulates (deer, moose, elk, antelope, etc.) during renewable energy project applications.
These majestic creatures need our protection. Videos like these go a long way towards helping our cause!
