[4K] AVerMedia Live Gamer BOLT - The HIGHEST Quality Game Capture with 4K60 HDR 🎮

Full review and demo of the AVerMedia Live Gamer BOLT gaming capture card. The Live Gamer Bolt (LGB GC555) is an external Thunderbolt capture card that is capable of recording up to 4K 60FPS with HDR.

Of course you don't have to use HDR when you record or stream at 4K60. In fact, most of the time you'll be recording/streaming in SDR. Even games that are HDR will be streamed in SDR most of the time - and they will look amazing btw.

This card works great with gaming consoles like the PlayStation 4/5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X|S. We'll be using an Xbox Series X in this video.

The LGB requires a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port on your computer, and is NOT compatible with USB!

If you want to record in 1080p instead of 4K, then the max pass-through and recording resolution is 1080p at 240 FPS

The Live Gamer BOLT is capable of capturing the highest quality game stream of any external capture card. It's also very easy to use with RECentral, which is AVerMedia's own "OBS style" capture program.

But you don't HAVE to use RECentral, the LGB will also work with your favorite screen/game capture programs, like: OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, etc...

If you absolutely need HDR capture in 4K at 60fps, and it must be in an external card - then the LGB is pretty much your only option.

However, you should be aware that working with HDR footage is MUCH more difficult than working with standard SDR video files. We'll go into that in the video.
