According to a new report by independent journalists Matt Tiabbi and Michael Shellenberger, the CIA may have utilized its contacts with overseas spy agencies to faciliate spy operations on 26 of Donald Trump’s campaign staffers back in 2016. If this report is proven true, these allegations would be most definitely mark a historic misuse of federal power. We do know, thanks to the Robert Meuller report, that the FBI improperly obtained a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page (a Trump campaign staffer) in 2016.
