Synopsis of "A Scandal in Bohemia"
"A Scandal in Bohemia" is the story of a young king who needs a photo destroyed before it can ruin his reputation. The King of Bohemia initially comes to Sherlock disguised because the matter is of such significance and even embarrassing in nature. Quickly, however, Holmes determines that his guest is Wilhelm Gottsreich Sigismond von Ormstein. After proving his sleuthing skills, the King enlists the help of Holmes to acquire and destroy an image of the King as a young prince, pictured with Irene Adler. He needs the photo destroyed because it threatens his engagement to Clotilde Lothman von Saxe-Meningen, second daughter of the King of Scandinavia. Sherlock begins plotting immediately and requests that Wilson meet him at 3'oclock back at Baker Street.
