Anne Arundel Co. schools staff trained to guide students in active shooter situation

The mass shooting at a Florida high school is bringing school safety procedures to the forefront of parent’s minds. In Maryland, the law requires that each school facility have a comprehensive emergency plan. School systems are also mandated to conduct certain emergency drills.
