Elizabeth Franklin is founder of law practice Elizabeth Franklin-Best, PC. She is an experienced appeals attorney based in South Carolina. She has handled a wide range of appeals cases, including those involving murder, sexual assault, and other serious crimes.

In this final episode of a 3 part series, Elizabeth shares a very personal story of a friend that was falsely accused of sexual assault. The prosecution delayed the case for three years, hoping to get the defendant to take a plea deal. The defendant, however, chose to roll the dice and go to trial, where he was eventually found not guilty of all accounts.

This is part of what makes America great; innocent until proven guilty. This is why having a great defense attorney is so important.
