Mexican President denounce ProPublica article -as a DEA campaign and calls reporter a mercenary

Mexican President Andrés López Obrador -denounced a ProPublica story as a DEA campaign against him, and demands an apology from the White House after calling the reporter a mercenary.

“And that must be fought, because the maxim of Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda of Hitler, is still in force.”

“A lie that is repeated many times can become true, and that is what the owners of the means of, what I no longer call communication, but rater manipulation.”

“Journalists -they will have prestige if they serve the oligarchy a lot, if they serve those who believe themself to be the owners of the world. They are Employees. Ultimately, mercenaries”

“Well, if there is no evidence and you yourself are saying that you have no evidence, why did you publish it? On behalf of whom? Well, of oligarchs, conservatives and possibly people from the DEA.”
