Psychologist Lucy Allen advises how to talk with kids about school shootings

Lucy Allen served as clinical director of Bridgepointe of Cincinnati for more than 12 years, where she practiced child and adult therapy, provided management and oversight of all clinical work, and designed and implemented an electronic medical records system. Nearing completion of her PhD in clinical social work, she is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees, also earning advanced psychotherapy training certification from the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. As chief clinical officer of PsychBC, she serves as clinical and EMR director and oversees the Cincinnati office, where she is based.
