Lowlands Copperhead Snake (Warrandyte, Victoria, Australia)

The lowland copperhead or lowlands copperhead ( Austrelaps superbus) is a venomous snake species in the family Elapidae, found in southeastern Australia and Tasmania. These snakes are often mistaken for the Red Bellied Blacksnake. This one was spotted cruising around one hot, sunny evening. Apologies for the shaky video, it's the best I could do from my iPhone :-) There will be a lot of snake related content on this channel soon.
