Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Today, there will be a cold front approaching the area.  Ahead of the front we will see a mix of clouds & sun.  Highs will top out in the  mid- to upper-40s.  A few sprinkles or light rain is possible south. A weak system will be moving through the area on tonight. As it does, there's a chance of a wintry mix to start, but any of that would change to a few snow showers. If we'd see any accumulation out of this, it would be a dusting at best. We'll have a one day cool-down on Friday with highs in the low-20s under mostly sunny skies. We could see a bit of light snow on Saturday, but that looks quite minor. Highs will top out in the low-30s. Sunday, if you live north, you could see some light snow, but most of us will have partly cloudy skies and highs around 30. A more significant system works into the area Monday, but it's too early to tell who would see a wintry mix or snow.
