A mangled, lifeless body lies on the field, dressed in tattered clothing. Upon its discovery, the dress serves as a potential clue to trace the perpetrator. In a community where crimes like this happen and cold cases go unsolved for years, how far can law enforcers go to carry out justice and ensure safety and security?

Jared Bradley speaks with Doug Young, a crime scene investigator at Thornton Police Department in Colorado. With nearly 30 decades of experience in law enforcement, Doug finds value in forensic science essential in conducting investigations that will result in accurate findings. This is the first part of their two-episode interview.

Innovations in forensic technology helps simplify the complicated process. With the use of the M-Vac, Doug and his team of forensic experts found the culprit - a man who lived with the victim. The wonders of new forensic technology help push progress and simplify complicated investigations. With the right equipment and a dedicated team, law enforcers can bring swift justice to the victims and their families, and regulate a safe and secure community.

All Things Crime is a new, comprehensive video series that will explore every aspect of crime and the ensuing investigation, one video interview at a time. The host, Jared Bradley, is the President of M-Vac Systems, which is a wet-vacuum-based forensic DNA collection system, and has experience traveling the world training all levels of law enforcement and crime lab DNA analysts in using the M-Vac to help solve the crime.

Along the way he has met people from all walks of life and experienced in investigating crimes, so is putting that knowledge to use in another way by sharing it in these videos.
