Europe is about to enter an absolutely perfect storm - due to Houthi blockade of the Red Sea for US and EU ships, imports of Indian diesel has dropped to nearly zero.
This is right at the start of the farming season where diesel is heavily used and relied on.
With farmer's protests all over Europe, going as far as besieging Paris, the lack of diesel and growing prices for it will further radicalize the farmers.
Another thing that is not talked about is that Russia and Belarus control a significant portion of the world fertilizer market, that those same European farmers have also lost access to.
With no cheap energy from Russia for their industries, and no Russian fertilizers or Indian diesel for their farmers, prices will grow across the board, European economy will undoubtedly stagnate and go into recession, leaving the EU with a choice between easing the pain their own ppl will go through, or sending money to Ukraine.
If they chose to spend internally - US taxpayers will be forced to pay more to prop-up Zelensky's regime.
If they chose to send money to Ukraine instead of spending it internally, there can (and will) be riots, and populists and radicals will come to power, again, choosing to look inwards and leave America's orbit.
Who could have though just half a year ago that flip-flop wearing camel lovers could collapse the entire Western world order... #think
