Madison is the capital of the state of Wisconsin. The city of Madison was built on an isthmus, a narrow strip of land between lakes Mendota and Monona. At the southwest end is Wisconsin’s State Capitol building.

The free tours highlight the building's stonework, art and architecture. The tour begins in the rotunda. Next is the Governor's conference room, followed by the Hearing Room. The Wisconsin Supreme Court is shown. Finally, both chambers of the Wisconsin legislature are covered, the Wisconsin State Senate and Wisconsin State Assembly.

Big thank you to our tour guide Steve. Get ready to see some badgers!
