Early childhood nonprofit Vibrant Futures and the economic development agency The Right Place surveyed over a thousand families and employers about child care concerns. SFX That is Vibrant Futures CEO Chana Edmond-Verley, who says west Michigan is losing nearly 300-million-dollars a year due to child care issues and it is "sucking all of the economic power out of the economy right now."
