History

Aya Brea is back. In Parasite Eve 2, she is now part of a team called M.I.S.T, which takes care of controlling any mutations that occur due to the influence of mitochondria in cells.
Characters

Aya Brea - FBI agent, member of the M.I.S.T. task force. with the aim of controlling neo-mitochondria. It has mutations in its mitochondria that allow it to release large amounts of energy and control the mitochondria of other living beings.
Kyle Madigan - a mysterious Los Angeles police officer who is searching for an item at the Shelter.
#9 - a strange and mysterious hunter of neo-mitochondria creatures, who becomes Aya's main antagonist throughout the game.
Maya - Aya's dead sister, however Aya is constantly dreaming about her.
Eve - was responsible for the incident in Manhattan in the first game. She now returns as a simple little girl, but one who could cause the extinction of the human race on Earth.
Jodie Bouquet - M.I.S.T. agent, she is responsible for selling weapons, ammunition and other items.
Pierce Carradine - M.I.S.T. agent and a biology major, Pierce is the brains of the team. He hates the use of weapons and that is why he is in the most bureaucratic part of the group, such as controlling missions and information.
Gary Douglas - Dryfield's sole survivor, is a weapons expert. He also sells Aya ammunition, medicine and other items.
Flint - Gary Douglas' dog, he guides Aya to suspicious places.
Eric Baldwin - supervisor of the M.I.S.T. group, is known for his strictness. He is the one who controls the detectives' missions.
Rupert Broderick - one of the best hunters of neo-mitochondrial creatures, joined the group after the death of his daughter. He's an excellent shooter.
