Searching the mountains of Montana for old homesites! | Ep 198 #metaldetecting #treasure #relics

This metal detecting trip starts at an old gold miners cabin. I think treasure hunters had already beat us there. I was picked clean. Brad and I decided to just cruise around looking for old homesites. In the middle of the mountains I spot some apple trees. Then I notice what looks to be like a plowed field in the middle of a pine tree forest. Boom the treasure hunt is on. I can't wait to swing my metal detector and see what I can find. Hopefully we can get some relics and if we get really lucky maybe an old coin or two!
