THE RISK OF LIVING

Living is not a spectator sport. It is not our place to sit in the stands, protecting ourselves, and watching the action from a distance. Being born, existing, means being a participant in the game of life. It is getting dirty and getting out in life where the opposition is powerful and difficult at times. Winning at life only comes from a fierce determination to jump in with both feet and to give every ounce of energy towards the goal of living abundantly.
Risks are to be evaluated not in terms of the probability of success but in terms of the value of the goal.
