Letitia James says she’s prepared to seize Trump’s buildings if he can’t pay

New York Attorney General Letitia James has stated to ABC News that she is ready to take action to seize former President Donald Trump’s assets if he fails to secure the $354 million required to satisfy the civil fraud case judgment, as mandated by a recent court order.

This announcement comes four days after the judge’s decision in the case.

“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James said in an interview with ABC News’ Aaron Katersky.
