Trump campaign memo declares South Carolina ‘the end’ of Nikki Haley

A memo released on Tuesday by former President Donald Trump’s campaign asserts that Saturday’s Republican primary in South Carolina will signify the conclusion of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign.

Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, senior advisers to Trump, authored the memo titled “The End Is Near For Nikki Haley,” stating that South Carolina’s primary will effectively mark the end of Haley’s 2024 presidential bid, regardless of her agreement with this assessment.

The upcoming South Carolina primary on Saturday holds particular significance as it is Nikki Haley’s home state and represents the final of the prominent first four contests leading up to Super Tuesday on March 5.

Having served two terms as the governor of South Carolina, Haley’s political roots run deep in the state.

Trump’s advisers have accused Haley of attempting to “hijack” Republican elections by seeking and accepting contributions from Democrats, the Washington Examiner reported.
