Of course they would like nothing more than for their girl to feel comfortable, while making one of the most important decisions in her life.

One guy from Carrollton, Mississippi decided that now is about time he proposed to his girlfriend. She was the one, sharing his interests and loving him for who he really is. What more can a big burly man from the South ask for? So he decided that the best way to show her how much she means to him was to - let her use his rifle?

“I wrote 'marry me' on a target and made my girlfriend think that she was about to take target practice with my rifle. I was to get down with the ring and her to turn around when she read the target through the scope. Well, the whole thing didn't really go as planned although it turned out to be pretty funny!”

In all honesty, we think that he has a solid idea. The arm rest he set up might have been too tall for her, but it sure did build up the excitement a lot better. He probably hoped that she will be able to see the target through the scope, just enough to read the message on it, but she turned out to be too short for it. Even on her tiptoes, she couldn’t see through that damn thing. So he gets up, puts the ring box back in his pocket and resets the whole thing. Let’s try this again…

“Can you see the target?” he asks his girl, but her response is vague..is she confused or something? What’s it look like? “It says ‘marry me,’”, she utters, obviously still confused with the setting. She definitely doesn’t get the message, so he has to remind her that she should face him for an explanation.

We have to say, out of all the proposals we have seen, this one definitely takes the cake! Bravo, you two!
