Norman Dodd was interviewed in 1982 by G. Edward Griffin regarding the time he spent as the head researcher for the Reece Committee. This is a truly eye opening look into what the tax exempt foundations are doing in the United States - their attempt to merge the Soviet System of Government with the US. Norman Dodd, the lead investigator for the Reece Committee in 1954, presented this congressional committee’s findings in the Dodd Report, which stated that during the period of 1933-1936, a revolutionary change took place which “could not have occurred peacefully, or with the consent of the majority, unless education in the United States had been prepared in advance to endorse it,” primarily because this “revolution” opposed American traditions and its independent esprit, and promoted instead internationalism, collectivism, and moral relativism. The Dodd Report, issued on April 29, 1954, described the effects the committee concluded the tax exempt foundations were having in America, which included; “Directing education in the United States toward an international viewpoint and discrediting the traditions to which it had been dedicated." "Decreasing the dependency of education upon the resources of the local community and freeing it from many of the natural safeguards inherent in this American tradition." "Changing both school and college curricula to the point where they sometimes denied the principles underlying the American way of life." The stated aims of the foundations which the committee discovered in the Carnegie Endowments own board meeting minutes, include involving the United States in a war, controlling the US State Department, and finally, in their terminology, “building our own stable of historians.”
