One Taken The Other Left Parable: The Paralambano Argument Exposed

In the parable where Jesus describes an event where people will be took away has been often mistaken for the rapture. Typically this misunderstanding comes from the presupposition that the rapture is a pretribulation or mid tribulation event. Yet the context is clear that the people who are taken are not taken in a rapture to be saved but are instead gathered to be destroyed at the second coming of Jesus Christ. They’re the wicked tares that will be gathered first. Many people will not accept this truth & try to pervert the Greek word paralambano which is translated as taken. The argument that pretribulation & mid tribulation rapture believers make is that paralambano is always a positive thing. However, as I prove through scripture that argument is false.
