Ford Motor Company, which bought the train station and has been rehabbing it for the past five years announced Tuesday morning they will officially reopen the building on June 6th. The former station is now home to Fords Mobility program and includes areas for the public including a coffee shop and event spaces. Michigan Central Station was vacant for decades before Ford purchased it.
