Chip Roy: We’re Being Flooded by Migrants at the Border Who Are Being Funded to Come Here

BARTIROMO: “Talking about flooding at the border, we’ve got pictures of hundreds, hundreds of migrants now flocking to the border, Jacumba, California, so they’re shifting now further closer to San Diego because of that razor wire in Texas. Fox News camera captured video yesterday showing Chinese and Turkish nationals, migrants also from Asia and Middle Eastern countries, all waiting to be picked up by the Border Patrol. You can see almost all of these people are single adults, most of them are military-aged males. Fox News0 Griff Jenkins talked to one illegal Chinese migrant who crossed into the United States. Jenkins: “What city do you want to go to?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “Um...I don’t know.”
Jenkins: “Yeah?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “I don’t know.”
Jenkins: “Okay. Why did you come?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “Um...taking money.”
Jenkins: “Money?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “Yes.”
Jenkins: “For job?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “Yeah.”
Jenkins: “There’s no job in China?”
Chinese MIGRANT: “Um, maybe, I don’t know.”

BARTIROMO: “Congressman, he said he came to take the money, whatever that means, congressman. Your reaction?”
ROY: “Well, we’ve known for a long that this is heavily true, that we’ve been getting flooded with people that are not here just for day jobs coming across the border. But what you’ve got is people who are — they’re being, frankly, I think funded to be able to come here. We know we saw some great reporting by I think it’s Bret Weinstein who did that reporting, had embedded and went through the Darién Gap, all the way up through Mexico, where you can see there’s Chinese facilities down there near the Darién Gap, just south of that, where they move people through. It’s all purposeful. We have people now from all over the world that are doing that. That’s all happening in real time. This is what we’ve been trying to say for a long time, and now we’re seeing the numbers are even worse. Remember when we were debating the border like two decades ago, or even seven to 10 years ago, mostly it was people in Mexico coming across the river. It then became the Northern Triangle of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Now it’s 75, 85% of these numbers are all from other places in the world, not there. This is not just the people who want to cross the river.”
BARTIROMO: “I’m concerned about the Chinese migrants because I know that you can’t just pick up and leave China. You have to get approval from the communist government. I am wondering if Xi Jinping is sending them here and I am wondering why, and I am also wondering why Joe Biden is doing nothing about it.”
