Several years ago the host, Jared, had the opportunity to visit Hanoi, Vietnam. While there he and a few others from his business group visited the "Hanoi Hilton" POW Camp.

From the moment you step inside that place, a feeling of dread, darkness, and evil descends on you like nothing else that is unimaginable. The primary thought is "I just want to get out of here", but morbid curiosity keeps you on the tour.

How people can treat another human being in that way is also hard to imagine, but it's happened throughout our history, and if we're not careful we will do it again.

The saying "Those who fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it" is as true today as it was back then.
