January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Why does the world (or at least all civilized countries) recognize this day? Because the horrors of the Holocaust - from physically separating people by religion and ideology to putting people in concentration camps to medical experiments on men, women, and children to gassing and murdering millions of innocent people - are so extreme that we need a special day every year to remember it and make sure those horrors are never repeated.

So how do seemingly civilized men reach a point where they are willing to do the above? Basically, treat another person as sub-human? We discuss it in this All Things Crime episode!

All Things Crime is a new, comprehensive video series that will explore every aspect of crime and the ensuing investigation, one video interview at a time. The host, Jared Bradley, is the President of M-Vac Systems, which is a wet-vacuum-based forensic DNA collection system and has experience traveling the world training all levels of law enforcement and crime lab DNA analysts in using the M-Vac to help solve the crime. Along the way he has met people from all walks of life and experience in investigating crimes, so is putting that knowledge to use in another way by sharing it in these videos.
