The former Big Boy restaurant property at 407 Pearl Street in Grand Rapids has been donated

There are plans in the works to use that property and others nearby to build a professional soccer stadium. SFX Downtown Grand Rapids Incorporated spokesman Bill Kirk says there are still several steps that need to be taken before the soccer stadium could be built. That organization controls the DDA.
