Homeless Holiday

Hello, It’s the Chair Man back with you, sharing some thoughts about Valentine’s Day. It’s one of those feel-good celebrations when I remind my dear, Chair Woman how much I love her, and we both thank God for His love…blessing us with a wonderful family, beautiful home, and fulfilling lives. I suspect you have plenty to be thankful for, too. But what about the homeless? What if we could share our blessings, so they can better celebrate God’s love for them? Our homeless friend John Jock who heads up the “Love Matters” ministry was offered the chance to do just that, this week…treating his Hickory, North Carolina “street people” to a shopping trip, and handing out holiday candy to his loved ones. John invited us to tag along and film the events.

One of those blessed by John Jock was Geneva, the “street widow” of a friend of his ministry who was struck by a car and killed, recently.
