Stylish small business comes to Troost corridor

A push to revitalize the area of Troost near Beacon Hill continues in south Kansas City as more businesses open up shop. Store owners said they would like to change the stigma attached to Troost. In tandem with the business growth, the area may also soon attract new residents. Back in October, the city approved plans for a mixed-use project on the corner of 27th and Troost that would bring 182 apartments and 12,000 square feet of retail space.
